TALN is the acronym of "Traitement Automatique du Langage Naturel" which is the French idiom for "Natural Language Processing". The annual conference "Le Traitement Automatique du Langage Naturel (TALN'97)" proposes in the same place presentations of works in the NLP domain and round tables allowing more informal discussions on specific issues. This year, we will focus in a special session on applications with demonstrations.
Papers are called on all domains of NLP. They will be reviewed (by at least two reviewers) on the basis of an article of about 3000 words which will be presented in 20 minutes (+ 10 mn for discussion) during the conference, and will be edited in proceedings.
The official language of the conference is French and the articles must be sent (electronic submission prefered: standard LaTeX or Word) to Damien Genthial before February 15th, 1997.
To make a demonstration (whether or not it's accompanying an article), please
contact Damien Genthial before February 15th, 1997.
